Jules fell into the fierce world of broadcast media and instantly loved the frenetic pace and formidable story-telling style.
After five years as a Producer of news and current affairs with the Seven Network, she packed up and traveled the world solo. Enjoying the boldness of adventure, Jules was naturally drawn to the art of observing humans and exploring their stories and behavior. She returned to Australia a year later determined to create in her work a stronger experience between the story and the viewer.
Since then, Jules’ passion for storytelling has been utilised in both the online content space and in short form broadcast storytelling, where her talents in directing, script writing and interviewing were employed to develop stories centred around the human narrative. She’s produced work for ABC, The Project, Viceland, SBS and a slew of production companies and agencies.
Her affable and collaborative approach naturally draws the best from the people she works with, enabling content with a strong purpose, sensitivity, and even laugh or two along the way.
Jules is currently freelance directing and producing in Brisbane, QLD.
